Don't Be That Person

I've made plenty of first date mistakes. Talked too much about myself, checked my phone constantly, brought up my ex. We've all been there.

Don't: talk only about yourself, complain about your job, check your phone, dress inappropriately, be rude to staff, bring up controversial topics right away.

Do This Instead

Ask questions and actually listen. Be genuinely curious about who they are. Show up on time, dress nicely, and be present.
